We have recently made some positive changes to The Whistlestop Cafe. Due to the opening of our newsagents we have relocated our dining area into the pub lounge. Therefore you can now enjoy our fantastic new range of breakfast in a more relaxed atmosphere. As the winter draws in we have the warmth of the open fire and sound of soulful music giving you an experience more unique than any other cafe in Burton.

Formerly the Crown and Anchor, 93 Wetmore Road underwent a 5 week refurbishment programme in October 2005 and on December 9th the 'Wetmore Whistle' was born.

Our Key aims with the Whistle were to successfully combine quality Live Music with quality real ales and homemade food. Part of the private living accommodation was converted to make way for the 'Whistlestop Cafe' which now opens at 8am every day except for Sunday. It is also fully licensed and it is not unusual to see shift workers and daytrippers washing down a bacon buttie with a pint of ale.

Live music, with artists from all over the country and as far away as Austin, Texas is a feature every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
